The Jitzak Luria Academie conducts research into the original Hebrew text of the Torah (the Pentateuch, the Five Books of Moses) and the underlying layers of meaning found within its numerical values. Since ancient peoples represented numbers using letters, every word in the Torah possesses a "numerical value." These values signify a universal reality encapsulated within the Torah's immediate narratives:
